My first time in Tokyo was March this year. My visit’s purpose was to participate of an exhibition and to meet a few business partners and prospects. One of the first things that called my attention upon arrival to the city was the Tokyo Tower. I arrived in the evening, when the Tower is so bright with all the lights surrounding it. Doing Business in Tokyo by Subway December 8, 2014August 5, 2015 Fabiano Maciel Leave a comment Are you visiting Tokyo any time soon for business (or leisure)? If this will be your first time in Japan, you might be feeling exactly how I felt when I found out I was going there on my first business trip. Especially if you don’t speak Japanese. I visited Japan for the first time this year (in March). I had to schedule several meetings and get ready for the challenge. Once hotel and flight were booked, I started looking for information about the best way to get around town. Of course the famous Tokyo Subway was the first thing that came to my mind. I had always heard about their effective transportation system, but did not know if it was the right choice for a business trip. What I realized is that it is in fact the best way to move around Tokyo. (more…)
